After 'Monumentum' in 2017 (see here), the Swedes of Eclipse led by 'Erik Martensson' who is involved in many projects (Nordic Union, WET or Ammunition), have released a new album 'Paradigm' early October 2019. No surprise for this new album is in direct line from precedents, that is to say a powerful melodic hard-rock that captive on first listen and this from the first title, I should say the anthem 'Viva La Victoria' which has the chorus to make jump an entire audience. Follows 'Marry Leigh' which is just as addictive than the first title, then 'Blood Wants Blood' continues in this flood of melodic power then 'Shelter Me' takes a break in the form of a very effective power ballad, and for 'United', the Swedes offer us a title close to the Germans of 'Axxis' (see their latest opus here).. The sequel is like the beginning of album with catchy choruses and we can note the remarkable mid-tempo 'The Masquarade' which is one of the highlights of 'Paradigm', the opus ending with another mid-tempo 'Take Me Home' which is equally remarkable. In short, this last album of the Swedes of 'Eclipse' is still a great success and, even if they do not revolutionize melodic hard-rock style, continue to offer us unstoppable compositions that captive immediately for the pleasure of their fans but also for all those who like an accessible melodic hard-rock...
