It is still the Swedish school which excels with 'Eclipse' and which blows you away with this new album 'Monumentum' and it could not be otherwise with a title like this one !! The recipe is well-established and we got an earful for 11 energetic and melodic titles and refrains with very catchy chorus at first listening. Everything is there to spend a good time without getting carried away, as in the golden age of the 80s melodic hard rock with a band like 'Def Leppard'. In short, as you will have understood, even if 'Eclipse' doesn’t renew very much, 'Momumentum' is an album with a total of 11 effective titles of ... well, 11, quite difficult to do better... | |
