After 'Atomic Generation' in 2018, 'Synchronized' in 2020 and the live 'Tough It Out Live' in 2021, the English of 'FM' release their 13th album counting their first period and continue in the rhythm of release of the last years, namely an album every two years. We've been used to it since then, the melodious hits of each album are always very effective and hit the spot on the first listen. And it's not this last album that will contradict me: everything is still done to have a great relaxing time listening to this classy and festive FM rock, starting with a first melodic gem 'Shaking the Three' at the addictive rhythm that gives this irresistible desire to beat time. The set still shows great variety with AOR bringing us back to the 80s like 'Waiting on Love' (see video above) with a melody reminiscent of 'Every Breath You Take' from 'Police', playful atmosphere found in the more rhythmic compositions 'Turn This Car Around' (see video here) and 'Be Lucky'. They offers us other atmospheres with 'Love and War' or 'Fight Fire with Fire' or the beautiful ballad 'Long Road Home' which are more oriented towards the American style like 'Eagles' and more energetic rock with ' Every Man Needs A Woman', the bluesy 'Talk Is Cheap' and 'Be True With Yourself' mixed with AOR or even the addictive mid-tempo 'Just Got Started' with its marked rhythm. In short, it's still an album without dead time that the English of 'FM' offer us and this 'Thirteen' should turn on a loop among fans of melodic rock because all the titles are to be consumed without any moderation...
