At the dawn of 2020, 2019 was full of live, so here is the list of myprogmusic chronicles of live in styles very different from each other, ranging from folk to metal through to progressive rock. To this first list, for a fortnight, will be added other live released in 2019 but which had not yet been the subject of chronicle.

The Americans of 'Blackberry Smoke' whose last album dates from 2018 (see here) released at the end of 2019 a live 'Homecoming: Live in Atlanta' recorded during the annual event 'Brothers And Sisters Holiday Homecoming' which is a charity to support children with cancer. Anyone familiar with 'Blackberry Smoke' will tell you that these guys are made for the stage and that this live is no exception to the rule with compositions that parade all as melodic and catchy as each other in the pure American tradition country-tinged rock. Special mentions for the 14 minutes of 'Sleeping Dogs' where the Americans allow themselves a foray into the repertoire of the 'Beatles' with 'Come Together' but also for 'Ain't Got the Blues' taken up by the public but also other moments filled with emotion like the magnificent 'Ain't Much Left of Me' with the introduction of 'Amazing Grace' or 'Up the Road' filled with melancholy or the cover of 'Space Captain' by 'Eric Clapton' with his famous message 'Learning to live Forever'. In short, ‘Homecoming: Live in Atlanta’ is intended for all those who love southern rock which flourished during the 60s in the South of the United States with groups like ‘Lynyrd Skynyrd’...
