A new group of the symphonic metal scene and morever French was born in 2012 in the city of 'Lyon'. After their first EP in 2014, they released their first studio album 'Hybris' in 2017. Their influences are evidently based on the great name of the style but, unlike some groups that make only pale copies, they bring an additional richness of composition that does not stop with the classic verse/chorus schema and tha's why you need several listening for domesticate the entire record. From the first title 'Degeneration: Hybris, Pt2' (don't ask me why part 2 is before part 1), we embark in a very successful title for more than 7 minutes that has elements of both progressive metal and symphonic metal. We discover 'Camille Borelly' who has a very good technique of singing and that, in some points, reminds me 'Tarja' and her theatrical side. In short, 'Hybris' is a very good surprise 2017 which shows that in France, there are groups able to compete with the great bands of the symphonic metal and, icing on the cake, can bring an personal touch...
