'Phase II Phase' is a Spanish band that was created in 2010 and released its 2nd album with 'Face It'. In an AOR or FM rock style, they offer very accessible titles mixing keyboards and guitars. The constructions are fairly classical verse/chorus with a talent for catchy melodies. If it were necessary to retain a title, I would say 'Future' for his refrain, recalling the eighties, and immediately assimilable. Note also guitar solos, although short but remarkable as in 'Feel the Heat' or in 'Greed'. In summary, 'Phase II Phase', with 'Face It' show that in Spain one can make good rock FM and that it is not an exclusivity of the Scandinavian countries for the delight of the amateurs of the genre... | |
