'Cylew' is the name of the female singer and guitarist of the band who just released its 3rd studio album 'Mot3L' and we feel a real evolution compared to the latest opus 'Black Lace Prophecy' with a research for a more authentic sound that go to the basics of rock. At first, I wound up in the atmosphere of the late '70s with artists like 'Pretenders' or 'Pat Benatar' and the voice of 'Lady Cylew' reminds me of certain intonations of 'Chrissie Hynde' (listen to the stripped 'Outer Spaces', it’s blatant). We navigate between energetic songs with choruses that immediately get into your head and make you stomp your feet like 'Take It All', 'Jupiter's Crash' or 'Save Me' and other quieter and more acoustic compositions like beautiful 'Outer Spaces' already mentioned above, the subtle 'Save Me' or the beautiful ballad 'Immaculate'. In addition, the whole benefits from a very good production and the arrangements are also of quality. In summary, 'Mot3L' is still a nice surprise of the end of 2017 and, for my part, 'CyleW' has reached a certain maturity and is moving in the right direction towards an authentic rock containing all the ingredients to make them known to the greatest number...
