Canadian singer 'Sass Jordan' has decided to celebrate the 25th anniversary of her album 'Racine', which made her known to a wide public in 1992. 'Racine Revisited' is a good way for those who do not know her to discover her. From the first titles, we are hooked by his powerful voice with a hoarse tone that is close to ‘Bonnie Tyler’ or ‘Tina Turner’. And then, when we listen to the compositions of this album, we say to ourselves that it contains rock nuggets that some will call classic but I prefer to use the word timeless. We navigate between energetic titles like 'If You're Gonna Love Me', 'Do What You Want' or 'Where There's a Will' where the guitar riffs have been rejuvenated, and others quieter like 'You Don' 'Have to Remind Me', 'Windin' Me Up, ‘Cry Baby’ or the beautiful ‘I Want To Believe' where Sass's voice still touch so much. In summary, 'Sass Jordan' shows that rock, when it is done in this way, does not care about fashion and that, after 25 years, 'Racine' has not taken a single wrinkle...
