It's still a return to the 'Floydian' atmospheres of the 70s that I offer you with the new project of 'Michał Dziadosz' which again shows with 'Strange Pop' that progressive rock is doing well on the side of Poland. If you liked the last two albums presented in myprogmusic, the one from 'Bjørn Riis' and the project 'CEN-ProjekT' by German 'Chris Engels', you will undoubtedly be won over by this new album released in April 2022. The album is relatively short and includes 6 titles and it is with the composition 'Quiet Storm', atmospheric and typical of the beginning of the progressive that we begin our voyage in time on a slow tempo which unrolls a melody 'Floydienne'. We continue with 'Goodbye Song' whose haunting and repetitive vocal accompaniment adds to this hovering side and the second part offers a magnificent 'Gilmourian' guitar solo. With 'Ex Oriente Lux', 'Michal Dziadosz' adds a psychedelic climate and takes us on a relaxing dream to the sound of a captivating flute, then 'Night Trip' continues in this style with a slow rhythm punctuated by a regular beat. We then approach the longest title, '432 Bars' which is much more a psychedelic sound exploration and may make the Germans think of 'Tangerine Dream' and the album ends with the short 'All This Hope' which gently brings us out of this atmospheric journey with a song with harmonious melodic lines.

In summary, the Polish 'Michal Dziadosz' invites us to take a seat in the time machine for a beautiful journey that transports us to the beginning of the progressive and 'Ten Years Gone' is recommended to all those who were bottle-fed psychedelic atmospheres of the late 60s with references to major bands of that time, among which we find, of course, 'Pink Floyd'...
