'Lost Whispers' is not a new album of Evanesence' but a set of compositions that come from B-sides of different singles, some of which already appeared on the deluxe version of the album ‘Evanescence' of 2011. The majority of the 11 tracks presents us the soft side of this symphonic metal band with superb ballads like 'Even In Death', 'Missing', 'Breathe no More' or 'The Last Song I'm Waiting on You' where Amy shows us that she can bring a particular emotion in this kind of composition. The other tracks are more classical of a group of symphonic metal and we can note the mid tempo 'A New Way To Bleed' which fits well into this album. In conclusion, 'Lost Whispers', even if it may disappoint some fans accustomed to saturated guitars shows another facet of the band that we already knew with their first hit 'My Immortal' dating from 2003...
