After 'Van Canto', here is 'Brides of Lucifer', a project initiated by 'Steven Kolacny' who is at the head of the Belgian rock choir 'Scala & Kolacny Brothers' (see here), the guitarist 'Koen Buyse' and 'Ives Mergaerts'. Their goal was to cover titles from different metal bands (see list below), with a female choir in a spectacular staging. The result is very original because it mixes powerful guitar riffs of the metal with the very airy choir singing and this marriage works perfectly. In some titles, we find the atmosphere of 'Therion' (see the extraordinary project of 'Christofer Johnsson', 'Beloved Antichrist' here) as in 'Warriors Of The World' of 'Manovar' or 'Paintkiller' of 'Judas Priest'. In summary, even if we are far away from the original versions and groups fans listed below will certainly don’t like, this fusion of power and serenity brings an metal offbeat approach accessible for a wider audience as did the 4 metal women singers in the project 'Exit Eden' (see here)...
