I introduced you to 'Syndenes Magi' in 2017 and 'The Magic of Sin' is not strictly speaking a new album nor a remastering of 'Syndenes Magi' but quite simply a re-recording of the album which had been released at the time sung in Norwegian and that Arabs In Aspic' comes out sung in English. It therefore gives us the opportunity to delve back into these three long developments which reek of the progressive rock of the 70s and if you are a fan of these years which saw the birth of this style or if you are a fan of this formation bringing us back to life the sounds of the first 'Pink-Floyd', you are in the right place to have a good listening time, especially since for audiophiles who have high fidelity streaming, the production is further improved with an even more rounded and warm sound. At the same time, the Norwegians are also releasing two other albums remastered, 'Pictures in a Dream' from 2015 and 'Victim of Your Father Agony' from 2013. In short, if we add the last album of 2020, 'Madness and Magic' of 2020, a good listening time in perspective to discover or rediscover these very beautiful albums by the Norwegians of Arabs In Aspic' which set in motion for us the time machine to immerse ourselves in the progressive of the seventies... |
