In power metal, we know the anthems of major bands that flourish in different countries such as the Germans of 'Powerwolf' or the Swiss of 'Signum Regis' or the Italians of 'Trick or Treat' or the Finns of 'Battle Beast' to name only bands that released albums in 2022 but, we also have in France several formations of this style and the Marseillais of 'Galderia' who have just released a new album, 'Endless Horizon', are one of its undeniable representatives. After 'Return of the Cosmic Man' in 2017, this latest baby from the French no exception to the rule and offers us unstoppable melodies with refrains to sing together until the voice dies out. On the menu of this opus, 10 compositions to have a good festive time, starting with an 'Answer The Call' which, on a catchy rhythm, pours us an addictive first chorus with a beautiful acoustic break in the second part of the title and choirs radiant, then, 'Striking The Earth' and 'Elation' continue in this well-trodden path, the first by accelerating the tempo and the second with a new memorable chorus. No need to go from title to title because the sequel is in the image of this beginning of the album and if you adhered to the first three compositions, you should undoubtedly like the whole album with new classic melodies but very effective that we hum from the first listening. And to rest from all this energy deployed, the French offer us as last title the semi-acoustic ballad 'Twenty One' which ends in a beautiful way this album stuffed with a good positive energy. In short, as you will have understood, the French of 'Galderia' confirm that they are one of the reference values of a power metal which gives you the fishing for a whole day and 'Endless Horizon' should please everyone an audience who love metal with addictive melodies that immediately stick in their heads...
