'Broken Witt Rebels' is a young English band that has just released their first studio album with the name of the group and who plays between blues, rock and hard rock with influences marked by artists of the 70s and a sound typical of groups English. From the beginning, 'Loose Change' sets the scene with an energetic rhythmic between 'Led-Zeppelin' and 'Aerosmith'. With 'Georgia Pine', it's a quieter title still in the same style and 'Shake me Down' sends a swaying blues rock rhythmic with a powerful sound on a melody that sounds familiar to us. The following is in the same style and recalls a time when hard-rock took flight and was integrated with rock and blues. They also vary moods with the ballad 'Getaway Man' or the most popisant 'Wait For You'. In summary, 'Broken Witt Rebels' released a first album of great quality that should be well received by a large public bottle-fed of the major rock/hard-rock formations of the 70s... |
