'That Rock Guy' is the project of the Australian 'Adam Barclay', singer and multi-instrumentist who has just released 'Nothin' To Lose '. From the beginning, it smells good the 80s with an energetic and powerful rock, accessible and very melodic a bit close to 'Def Leppard'. The songs follow each other and each could have made a hit a few decades ago like 'Through The Night' and its chorus to make sing a stadium and a super efficient guitar solo. Small break with the beautiful ballad 'Never Gonna Say Goodbye' and then it continues for an album’s end just like the first part. Nothing to dislike in this opus which, although it does not revolutionize very much, makes us spend a very good time and should please all the fans of powerful and energetic rock of the 80s... | |
