The Swedish-led supergroup 'Robbie La Blanc' who released the album 'Double Trouble' in 2021 accompanied by the Chilean 'Daniel Flores' who needs no introduction (small search in myprogmusic here) are the two pillars from 'Find Me' with a new album 'Lightning in a Bottle', after 'Angels in Blue ' of 2019. And if we add that 10 compositions were written by 'Alessandro Del Vecchio' (the 11th title being the cover 'Far from Over' by 'Vince DiCola' and 'Franck Stallone' present in the band original from the 1983 film 'Staying Alive'), we think that the result will have to it be up to the 3 artists mentioned. Indeed, from the start, we are greeted by a 'Survive' with a first melodic chorus that takes us back to the best of melodic hard rock of the 80s (see video above) and the cover 'Far from Over' which follows is quite at its place in this album with a modern sound. Each title is a melodic jewel with remarkable interpretations and the whole is varied with catchy compositions like 'Sail Away', 'Distant Echoes', or even 'Give My Heart' and we are also won over by more AOR atmospheres with par example 'Diana', 'Remember' (see video here), 'Under a Bad Sign', or even 'On the Run' which concludes the album in a very beautiful way. We can't miss the two beautiful ballads that are 'Back to You' (see video here) and 'You and I'. In short, the 'Frontiers' label, thanks to an 'Alessandro Del Vecchio' who is on all fronts, continues to offer us memorable melodies and this 'Lightning in a Bottle', sublimated by talented interpreters, is still the proof and should go on repeat for all fans of melodic rock and hard rock...
