Around the same time as 'Tommy Castro' and after the great 'Reckless Heart' in 2019, 'Joanne Shaw Taylor' is releasing an album of blues covers produced on 'KTBA Records' by 'Joe Bonamassa' who sings and plays guitar on the track 'Don't Go Away Mad'. The album contains covers of various artists and not so well-known compositions by 'Peter Green' ('Fleetwood Mac'), 'Little Milton', 'Otis Rush', 'James Ray' or 'Little Richard' and all these timeless titles are sublimated by the American who offers us wonderful interpretations both vocally and instrumentally, her guitar solos being a pure delight. In short, 'Joanne Shaw Taylor' demonstrates once again that she is one of the great blues artists by offering us yet another magnificent album with varied compositions that can be enjoyed with happiness and that should, without a doubt, please an audience of authentic blues lovers...
