'Bad Sister' is not a new project because this formation already had a period of activity at the end of the 80s with two albums, 'Heartbreaker' in 1989 (the album can be listened to on youtube here) and 'Out Of The Business' in 1991, then, after a long break, they returned in the late 2000s with a third album 'Because Rust Never Sleeps' and nothing for more ten years until this last opus released at the end of November, 'Where Will You Go'. For all fans of melodic hard rock that takes us back to the 80s, you've come to the right place because that's exactly what the Germans are offering us with their latest baby. Now led by the singer 'Andrea Löhndorf' who has a powerful voice lending itself very well to this style, we embark on 13 catchy compositions from the first listen and entry, with 'Lose Or Win' (see video above), we are welcomed by an energetic title bringing us back a few decades in the style of a 'Pat Benatar' or a 'Joan Jett' with guitars with muscular riffs. And in the same style, we continue with new melodic hits such as 'Feels Like Love', 'Don't Need Me', 'Confess You Love Me', 'Fair Enough' (see video here). In more moderate rhythms bringing a nice diversity to the whole, we can also mention the mid-tempo 'Bright Lights' bringing a funky side, the heavy and rhythmic 'You're Gone', 'Couldn't Do Right' (see video here) and its memorable chorus, the classic but super effective rock 'She Doesn't Love You' or the last two tracks 'Some Hallelujahs' approaching the style of 'Bonnie Tyler' and the driving 'Got Caught' which completes the whole in a beautiful way. And when the lights are dimmed, the Germans deliver two melodic gems with the ballads 'Could It Be Love' and Moon Woman'.
