Already the 8th album for the Finns of ‘Amberian Dawn' who continue to enchant us with their refreshing compositions close to the 'Abba' style (but with a little piece of metal !). I already liked their previous album (see Here) and 'Darkness of Eternity' continues in the same vein with energetic and effective titles starting with 'Abbaesque' influences with the hopping 'Sky Is Falling' or 'Maybe', but they also offer less pop titles like 'Dragonflies' or 'Abyss' and of course beautiful ballads with 'Breathe Again' or 'Symphony Nr. 1, Part 2 - Darkness Of Eternity'. Until the last title 'Anyone', the tone remains jovial and friendly. In short, with this latest opus of Amberian Dawn ', do not look for any musical complexity but rather let yourself be carried by the various titles that for my part make me feel good and if you're open to the pop of the 80s but also to the power of the metal, you must adopt this 'Darkness of Eternity'...
