One Swedish band can hide another and it is the turn of 'Grand Design' to release their 4th album 'Viva La Paradise', with a change of line up because 'Joakim Jonsson' now officiates on drums and 'Stefan Westerlund on bass. The recipe has not changed : good melodic heavy metal with catchy melodies and a striking resemblance to 'Def Leppard'. We can not say the opposite with this new opus because the first 2 titles' Face It 'and' Rawk'n Roll Hysteria' (a nod to their Here ?), we think they could have been featured in an album of the British band in the 80's. So, let’s go on board for 45 minutes titles as catchy as each other with refrains that immediately enter in your head.
