You want some good direct and effective rock that makes you headbang on the first chords, I've got you covered with the Brits of 'Doomsday Outlaw' who are releasing a new album and appearing on spotify with 'Damaged Goods'. In this latest baby, everything is done to go on a refreshing journey with a mix of rock, hard rock and blues with thick riffs that takes us back to the best bands of the 70s/80s. And here we go for 12 compositions all as addictive as each other and if you hang on to 'In Too Deep' (see the video above) which begins the album with a well-soaked hard rock rush and effective 'On My Way' which gets you in shape for a whole day with a chorus that you have a mad desire to scream at the top of your head, you should adopt 'Damaged Goods' fairly quickly. In the same energetic style as these first two titles, we can cite the enormous mid-tempo 'You Make It Easy', the driving 'Runaway' (see the video here ), the swaying 'My Woman Comes On Strong' reminiscent of 'Led Zeppelin' (see the video here) or even the heavy 'It Never Gets Old ' with its vintage keyboards. Between all this energy, the English offer us other compositions that exude good blues/rock with 'If This Is The End' (see the video here), but also more direct rock with 'Turn Me Loose' which makes me think of the beginning of the 'Beatles' with the melody of 'I Saw Her Standing There' but in more muscular, or rock leering towards country with 'One More Sip' (see the video here) and 'Walking The Line' with his slide guitar, not forgetting the two ballads 'Nowhere Left To Hide' and especially 'The Little Things' which ends the album in style with a melody that makes you go straight up on a little cosy cloud as you find yourself in a concert swinging your arms above your head listening to the delicious vocals of 'Phil Poole' and the addictive guitar solo.

In summary, the English of 'Doomsday Outlaw' release a very diversified album which offers us a melting pot of classic styles and if you like a mix of rock, hard rock and blues/rock well soaked, you should without no doubt adopting 'Damaged Goods' quite quickly...
