This latest baby 'While Passion Lasts' is therefore a continuation of the previous opus with anthems which release a good dose of raw energy: after the instrumental introduction 'Prelude To Passion' slowly increasing the pressure , the title song releases a first hard rock blast with a very punchy rhythm with a first chorus on which we have an irresistible desire to accompany the choirs, then, the titles conducive to headbanging follow one another without downtime and parade 'Blood From A Stone' and 'Mr. Know It All'. Small break with 'Unholy Games' and its slow tempo, then, we start again with 'Dark Stalker' which, after a calm introduction with a piano, offers us a very muscular up tempo, then, 'Truthful Lies' drives the point home with a new track full of good energy and 'Hold Up The Night', which follows, is in the same vein as its predecessor. Follows 'Where It All Begins' which allows for a second break in the form of a beautiful melodic power ballad and 'Crimetime' ends this album in style, the rhythm section being at the party and the guitar solo being remarkable.
In summary, the Spaniards of Hitten', without revolutionizing the genre but bringing good positive energy, are releasing a good hard rock album which should make all fans of this style which has seen its rise happy at the beginning of the 70s and which has become a timeless genre... | |
