The Germans of 'Powerwolf' released ' Call of the Wild' in 2021 but, deprived of concerts because of what you know and, knowing the search for the spectacular of this power metal band, here we are in 2022 with the DVD/Blu-Ray release of the pharaonic project which had been broadcast in livestream between December 17 and December 22, 2021, satisfying all fans of the combo with in particular a festival of impressive pyrotechnic effects. It's a kind of best off of their best compositions for 1 hour and a quarter of a show and everything is done to impress us because all the addictive hymns of the 'Germans' follow one after the other. Consequently, musically, nothing new since these are already known titles but to give you an idea of the visual aspect of this show, 3 videos are available on the site of 'Napalm Records': in the order of the set list, first 'Venom Of Venus', then 'Glaubenskraft' and finally 'Demons Are A Girl's Best Friend. In short, no need to add more, with this grandiose show, the Germans of 'Powerwolf' still set the bar a little higher in bombast. We already have a good overview with the CD which shows an irreproachable production and a beautiful burst of energy of a concert atmosphere, but 'The Monumental Mass' cannot be conceived without the image because everything has been implemented for a unique musical show... | |
