Italian 'Gabriele Gabriel Crisafulli' returns with a new album of the famous manga of 'Hokuto no Ken' by 'Tetsuo Hara' and 'Buronson', the latest of the rock/metal opera in seven acts, 'Fist of the Seven Stars Act 3: Nanto Chaos', having been released in 2021 and which was followed by the concept album on 'Dracula', 'Dragonblood - Damned Melodies' in 2022. As he had done since the beginning of this manga saga, the keyboardist invited many artists for the vocal parts and instrumentalists for the electric guitar, bass and drum sections (list below). This fourth chapter is in the continuity of the first three and it continues to mix rock and symphonic metal with some touches of progressive and with melodic lines that are always very catchy in epic atmospheres.

After a first listen, the general impression that emerges is that this 4th act presents more calm atmospheres than the first episodes. In 'Five Forces', the whole is well shared between catchy compositions, epic mid-tempos and there are three magnificent power ballads. The first three tracks are the perfect illustration: 'Deathstar in the sky' begins the album in a catchy composition with a memorable first chorus, then, 'Fight between brothers' is a heavy and rhythmic mid-tempo in an epic atmosphere with magnificent guitar solos and 'You Can Cry' shows all the talent of 'Gabriele Gabriel Crisafulli' to offer us very beautiful ballads (there is no denying that the Italians have that little something extra in the composition of little melodic gems!). Same observation for the next trio of songs with 'The Lone Wolf' which shows an energetic face on catchy melodic lines and bright keyboards, then 'Toky must die' gets closer to 'Fight between brothers' and the ballad 'Why!?', which follows, has nothing to envy the first and is still a beautiful moment of serenity. The next two tracks, 'Five Forces' and 'Tears of fire' continue in this melodic metal with moderate rhythms while keeping a beautiful energy, and 'Free like clouds' takes us back to melodic hard rock from the 80s, the keyboards of 'Gabriele Gabriel Crisafulli' being highlighted in the instrumental parts. A heavy and well-marked rhythm is also in place with 'Mountain Forces' in which we find majestic keyboard sections and well-provided vocal harmonies. With 'Live for you', we have the 3rd ballad which benefits from a very beautiful vocal performance by 'Roberto Tiranti' ('Labryrinth', 'Wonderworld') who is also present in the following title 'Time is here' which is very catchy and which again offers a remarkable keyboard solo by Gabriele. Finally, 'Silent Survivor', which is sung in Japanese, closes the album with a memorable last chorus.

In summary, this act 4 adds a new episode to the saga of 'Kenshiro' with new catchy melodies that we immediately tame and 'Gabriele Gabriel Crisafulli', surrounded by talented artists, continues his adventure started in 2016 with the first part of this metal opera in 7 acts that he continues to feed year after year with brilliance...
