At the dawn of 2020, 2019 was full of live, so here is the list of myprogmusic chronicles of live in styles very different from each other, ranging from folk to metal through to progressive rock. To this first list, for a fortnight, will be added other live released in 2019 but which had not yet been the subject of chronicle.

The legendary group 'Yes' released a live in August 2019 which was recorded during the American tour at the 'Fillmore Philadelphia' in Philadelphia on July 20 and 21, 2018. They continue to celebrate their 50th anniversary with the participation of historic members like the founding member and keyboard player 'Tony Kaye'. The set list is obviously composed of emblematic titles which punctuate the long career of the group like, among others, 'Starship Trooper' (album 'The Yes Album' of 1971), 'Roundabout' (album 'Fragile' of 1971) or the phenomenal 'Close to the Edge' (album 'Close to the Edge' from 1972) which was part of the hatching of progressive rock at this time with long developments in several parts nested within each other. In short, ‘Yes 50 Live’ is a magnificent live for all fans of ‘Yes’ and to allow the youngest to discover a group that has marked progressive rock for several decades...
