The Americans of 'In This Moment' are known for playing a metal with a dark trend, but their latest album 'Ritual', even if it is mainly based on primary and powerful rhythms with electronic sounds reworked in the mix, has also other assets that make it a varied and accessible opus with melodic compositions. After the instrumental introduction, we first have 'Oh Lord' which is a well-anchored mid-tempo that swings in a dark atmosphere and then follows 'Black Wedding' much more hopping and very rock . 'Joan Of Arc' is a title where it’s not possible to not kick your foot and with 'Witching Hour', you feel like you're back in '80s with 'Depeche Mode'. We can note also, and it is rather surprising, the cover of 'In The Air Tonight' of 'Phil Collins' that they resume beautifully.
