Along with the remastered albums 'Cover to Cover' and 'Cover 2 Cover', Spotify uploaded the latest album from covers of the trio ‘Neal Morse’/’Mike Portnoy’/’Randy George’ at the end of July and it is a beautiful gift to hear these three very complete artists bring various and varied compositions up to date without distorting them. For this 3rd part, we are spoiled with melodies that have accompanied us throughout these last 50 years. On the program, progressive rock with for example 'Yes' (and it's 'Jon Davison' who sings on the track 'No Opportunity Necessary, No Experience Needed') or 'Jethro Tull' and the energetic 'Hymn 43' (note the remix of 'Steven Wilson' from 'Stormwatch' from 1979)or even 'King Crimson' with 'One More Red Nightmare', but also titles that are part of our collective memory like 'Life On Mars' by the late 'David Bowie' (what a magnificent interpretation that gives you goosebumps) or the very famous' Baker Street 'of' Gerry Rafferty 'in which 'Neal Morse' takes us on a masterful guitar solo at the end of the title. In short, what happiness to listen or to listen again to these mythical titles again and if you missed the first 2 episodes, I invite you to to listen to them also because this trio of artists confirms that it has a real talent to be able to tackle to all styles with always very accurate interpretations...
