We no longer present 'Foreigner', this iconic melodic rock band created in the '70s by' Mick Jones 'and' Ian Mc Donald 'and very active in the' 80s. 2018 sees the release of the 2017 Lucerne concert which celebrated the 40-year career of the group. For this event, they appealed to a classical orchestra and a choir that necessarily give a new symphonic dimension to the ensemble. After a classical orchestral and vocal introduction where 'Mozart' is mixed with 'Dvorjak', we find the hits that made them known and that were rearranged to integrate classical instruments and the choir as in the grandiose 'Juke Box Hero' which has been lengthened to make more than 11 minutes and where the balance is perfect between the symphonic and electrical parts. The final title 'I Want to Know What Love Is' obviously gives the goose bumps when the public resumes, at the request of 'Kelly Hansen', this chorus that was engraved in our heads there are more than 30 years. Note also the release of the DVD with 3 titles in addition to 'Head Games', 'The Flame Still Burns' and 'Hot Blooded'. In short, this live is a very nice gift for all the fans of the group and beyond should make known this group to the youngest because the music of 'Foreigner' is accessible to the greatest world... |
