After the very good albums 'Stray from the Flock' in 2019, 'Second Time Around' in 2020 and 'For Første Gang' in 2022, 'Mike Tramp' returns with a new album but this time taking over compositions from 'White Lion' taken from the various albums of his former band. We dive back into the prosperous period of the 80s and, even if 'Mike Tramp' no longer has the voice of his twenty years, he offers us the hits of the time by adapting his voice and the result is quite remarkable. Of course, the group's flagship album 'Pride' takes the lion's share (white!) with 5 titles out of 12. I have added below the spotify link of each original title. Between lively compositions and beautiful ballads, we have a great time listening to this 'Songs Of White Lion'. In short, 'Mike Tramp', who had already tried to rekindle the 'White Lion' flame in 2008 with 'Return of the Pride', returns with a very good album which rejuvenates us by 35 years and which should please all those who remember this decade during which we were rocked by the sound of melodic rock formations, most of which actively participated in writing the history of rock...
