Polish groups are often the generators of a rich and complex progressive rock that needs to be tamed before appropriating it. 'Amarok', which is the project of 'Michal Wojtas', is the perfect example. He released in 2017 'Hunt', a new album filled with beautiful surprises in which he invited artists of the Progressive scene. Michel melee electric and acoustic instruments and all this is integrated in rhythmic mixing drums and electro. The result is unique and the atmosphere is hovering rather close to some compositions of 'Riverside' or 'Steven Wilson'. The traditional instruments reinforce this aspect as in the hypnotic 'Two Sides'. In short, on the frontier of experimental music, this new opus of ‘Amarok’ transports us into an unreal universe not necessarily accessible and therefore, it is a shame, will be reserved for a limited audience...
