The Italians of 'Trick or Treat' continue to offer us albums at regular intervals because after 'The Legend Of The XII Saints' in 2020, followed by the compilation 'The Unlocked Songs' in 2021, the first of April 2022 (and it's not a fish) saw the release of a new album 'Creepy Symphonies' which continues in the already well-trodden path of 'happy power metal' with hymns on every street corner to tell us stories of frightening symphonies. And, after the short introduction 'Trick or Treat' to warm up the room, the eponymous title (see the very crazy video above) tumbles at a hundred miles an hour with a breathtaking rhythm and a chorus to take over the heart until 'at the extinction of voice, then, 'Have A Nice Judgment Day', slightly slower, continues with a new catchy refrain which does not leave you anymore and 'Crazy' adds a layer with a new scud which does not make in lace. In the same style we can also put ourselves between the ears of other melodic missiles with 'Escape from Reality' (see the video here), 'Queen of Likes' or even the long final development 'The Power of Gray Skull' which takes us on a powerful and epic journey with multiple twists. And to catch your breath between all this energy deployed, the Italians show us a more measured face with the ballads 'Peter Pan Syndrome (Keep Alive)' with its memorable melody to make a whole stadium sing and 'April' with new melodic lines in the great tradition of Italian song to which we must add 'Falling over the Rainbow' which is more in line with more measured melodic hard rock. In summary, the Italians of 'Trick or Treat' continue to distill us what they know how to do best, namely good melodic power metal at will and this always in a good mood without taking themselves seriously, and that's also maybe that's why they are so nice to us: Gentlemen, it's perfect, do not change anything...
