The super group 'Black Country Communion' remembers us fondly with this fifth album. It's certain, with this range of artists (see below), it must not be easy to find holes in the calendar, their latest album 'BCCIV' dating from 2017. We are therefore embarked on some very muscular hard rock which takes us back a few decades with a impeccable production and we are not surprised to be able to put between our ears a succession of hits which smell like 'Deep Purple', 'Led Zeppelin' or even 'AC/DC', the entire line up doing the job like we say. Special mention for 'Glenn Hugues' who, at 73, is doing like a charm and offers us remarkable vocal performances. To give you a small sample of this album, you can watch the singles that were featured of a video: first of all 'Stay Free' which was released in early March 2024, then 'Red Sun' which followed in April 2024, then, 'Enlighten' was released in May 2024 and 'Letting Go' was released on the day the album was released. In short, no need for a long review to tell you that this latest album from 'Black Country Communion', as a very old advertisement from the 70s for a chocolate bar would say, "it's dynaMIC in a bar!"...
