'Galasphere 347' is a new project initiated by well-known progressive artists like 'Stephen Benett' who works in the experimental rock band 'Henry Fool' with 'Tim Bowness' (see here) or as 'Mattias Olsson' who was a member of the progressive rock band 'Änglagård' or like 'Jacob Holm-lupo' and 'Ketil Vestrum Einarsen' who are members of 'White Willow' (see here). The eponymous album of the group name presents 3 long titles between 10 and 15 minutes that bring us back in the 70s and recalls the long compositions of 'Yes' as in the first title 'The Voice of Beauty Drowned' between symphonic and psychedelic where the instrumental parts are numerous with, among other things, a beautiful aerian passage where the flute of 'Vestrum Einarsen' fills the entire space. The two other titles with multiple drawers make us travel in a patchwork of different atmospheres where the keyboards offer a beautiful sonor pallet and, as often in the case of long development, several plays are necessary to fully tame and enjoy the whole. In summary, this very good album of 'Galashere 347' brings us in a delicious way a few decades back, at the time when this style flourished and where the vinyls made us discover all these groups that have become references in the progressive style...
