The Americans of '3rdegree' had released the first part of 'Ones & Zeros' in 2015 (see here) and we were waiting for volume 2 one day or the other and 2018 sees the next sequel to this saga around new technologies but in the reverse order since it bears the number 0 for certainly support the notion of decadence due to digital. The style of this new album is in continuity with the previous one, a progressive rock which draws its influences in a mixture of genres that go chronologically from the pop of the 60s / 70s to the neo-prog of the years 2010. The beautiful vocal harmonies are always present and integrate beautifully in refined and melodic compositions. And how to miss the flagship title of the album 'Click Away!' of more than 15 minutes and that embarks us in a sort of timeless musical journey that mixes the 'Beatles' and 'Steven Wilson' and is a criticism of excessive computerization. In summary, this' Ones & Zeros: Vol. 0 'comes to add to the excellent first part and, even if the whole remains intended for an informed public, is a dense and rich work which should take a good place in the discotheque of any amateur of progressive...
