After a first album in 2014, the English 'Space Elevator' led by the duo 'The Duchess' and 'David Young' return to the front of the pop / rock scene with a second album simply titled 'II'. With 'Space Elevator', we embark on a mix of pop / rock in the great tradition of bands of the 80s with a variety of titles that mix several styles: we go from a fast and powerful 'Take the Pain' to a hopping 'Talk Talk', then, with 'World of Possibilities' we come back in the variety of the 80s with a catchy chorus. Follows the ballad 'The One That Got Away', also tagged 80s, and 'Crazies' with its swaying rhythm and then the cover of the first album 'Let me Fly' with its 2 parts, calm at the start and accelerating in the middle of the title for a very melodic chorus. With 'All This Time', it's a symphonic rock like bands like 'Karnataka' especially since in this song, the voice of 'The Duchess' is very close to that of 'Hayley Griffiths'. The following scrolls titles very accessible and the album ends with the magnificent 'Queen for a Day', a kind of tribute to the English group and totally in the style of a 'We Are the Champions'. In short, the English of 'Space Elevator' released a very good album varied, melodic and very accessible that should reach a relatively large audience...
