'Joe Banamassa' continues to release albums at regular intervals, and after 'Black Coffee' with 'Beth Hart' early 2018 (see Here) and the magnificent live at Carnegie Hall (see Here), it's still a live that was released in May 2018, 'British Blues Explosion Live'. For this concert recorded at the Old Royal Naval College Greenwich on July 7, 2016, he pays tribute to artists who have always been influenced throughout his career, including 'Eric Clapton', 'Jeff Beck', 'Jimmy' Page 'and John Mayall'. I quote Joe : 'If there had not been some British musicians in the 1960s, Blues might never have exploded in rock music as we know it today'. We therefore find standards of the artists mentioned above and this concert atmosphere that makes these songs so authentic interpreted in a masterful way by Joe but also by the musicians who accompany him. So, in the end, there is not much to say, simply press the play button and turn up the sound to fully enjoy these timeless titles ...
