Formed in 2009 by the meeting of the female singer 'Carlotta Cimeli' and the guitarist 'Claudio Biancalani' and, after a first album in 2011 ("Echoes Of Wonder") which went completely unnoticed and 2 nominations at the ‘Hollywood Music In Media Awards’, the Italians from 'Raven Tide' are releasing in 2017 'Novarize'. From style side, they are tagged symphonic metal but, apart from a few energetic parts, the compositions tend towards melodic symphonic rock, easy to access with the highlighting of keyboards that often take over the power of guitars. The titles are quite varied and we navigate between fast and energetic titles like 'Rise Up' or 'Real', others quieter with for example 'Blue', 'Breakeven' or the acoustic 'Abyss'. 'Shiver' is completely instrumental and presents another facet of the group with a progressive approach. In summary, with this 'Novarize', the Italians 'Raven Tide' released an accessible and varied symphonic rock album that should reach a relatively large audience...
