'Talesien' is a Spanish band that has already 15 years of existence and who released at the end of 2016 its fourth studio album. This is on this occasion that I discover them with the album simply titled 'Talesien'. Musically, their style is a mix of progressive metal that brings a certain originality and melodic metal that makes their compositions accessible. For example 'Lazarus' is a mixture of progressive instrumental parts and others sung with a chorus as only the Hispanics know how to do. In short, even if with the use of the Spanish language, they take the risk to loose a certain audience, 'Talesien' strongly claim their background which gives this last album a perfect homogeneity and should please all amateurs of metal open to various influences... | |
