'Layla Zoe' that I chronicled last year (Here), has just released a live 'Songs from the Road'. And in this case, it’s in this kind of recordings that authentic artists like Layla take their full scale. Almost 70 minutes of concert for the CD (there is also a DVD), each title is a great moment to live so much she possesses this power to transmit a palpable emotion to the public. To retain only 2 tracks, it would certainly be the 2 longest titles : first, 'Never Met a Men Like You' with its swaying rhythmic and Layla which makes us spend a great moment in duet with his guitarist; then the magnificent 'Highway of Tears' that gives us the goose bumps as much in Jan's guitar playing as Layla's voice.
