'Midnite City' is an English band that I discovered with their 2nd album 'There goes the Neighborhood' and which evolves between melodic rock and hard-rock with influences of groups of the 80s. With 'Here Comes the Party', let’s go for a powerful and effective title whose melody attract immediately, then 'Give Me Love' adds more with a refrain where the choirs have a great time. With 'You Do not Understand Me', the rhythm is calmer for a mid-tempo but it is still melodic and what is following continues to scroll songs as catchy as each other with a break at the end of the album with the ballad 'Heaven's Falling' simple but still effective and the album ends without weakening with 'Until the End' which is aptly named because it has the chorus that you have in mind for a day. In short, as they say, the English of 'Midnite City' are doing the job to offer us simple but effective compositions full of good energy and, even if they will not revolutionize the hard-rock melodic, this 'There Goes the Neighborhood' is made for all those who love the hard-rock melodic 80s and is to consume without moderation...
