After a very good 'Pure Heavy' in 2014, the Norwegians 'Audrey Horne' come back with a new album 'Blackout'. Always in the same style, they offer us 10 tracks of melodic hard-rock (plus 2 bonuses) starting with an energetic 'This is War' whose beginning reminds me of 'I Was Made For Loving You' of 'Kiss'. Follow 'Audrevolution' and 'Blackout' with the same rhythmic which are both very effective. The title 'This One' reminds me of the boogie-rock rhythm of 'Status Quo', with 'California', it calms slightly while keeping this tempo that can not stop you from stomping and the magnificent 'Rose' Alley' has that little taste of a certain 'Thin Lizzy' even in the guitar solo. Note that the 2nd bonus 'The End' is a ballad that nicely closed the opus.
