At the dawn of 2020, 2019 was full of live, so here is the list of myprogmusic chronicles of live in styles very different from each other, ranging from folk to metal through to progressive rock. To this first list, for a fortnight, will be added other live released in 2019 but which had not yet been the subject of chronicle.

In the domain of symphonic metal, if there's a group that is up in lights, it is 'Nightwish' and, pending the next studio album, this live in 'Buenos Aires' is the third public recording since the arrival of 'Floor Jansen' but its particularity is to offer us many more titles from the 'Tarja' period because on the whole of the concert it is approximately three quarters of the titles which are taken from album going from 1997 ( 'Angels Fall Fist') to 2004 ('Once'). Indeed, from the start of the concert, after the instrumental introduction of 'Swanheart' (we remember the magnificent interpretation of 'Tarja' in Oceanborn), the first 5 tracks are taken respectively from 'Angels Fall First' from 1997 ('Come Cover Me'), 'Oceanborn' from 1998 ('Gethsemane'), 'Over The Hills And Far Away' from 2001 ('10th Man Down'), 'Century Child 'from 2002 (' End Of All Hope ') and' Once 'from 2004 ('Wish I Had An Angel') and it is only with 'Elan' that we enter the 'Floor Jansen' era. The sequel continues to draw on these first albums to the delight of historical fans and only the album ‘Wishmaster’, which is represented by ‘Deep Silent Complete’, was missing to have a sample of the Finn’s first 6 albums. In summary, this new live of 'Nightwish' immerses us for our greatest pleasure in the 'Tarja' era and we can not help making the comparison between the two singers: for my part, I always remember the 'End Of An Era' of 2006 which will undoubtedly remain for me the must of the 'Nightwish' live...
