With the Americans of 'Seconds Before Landing', you enter a world apart from conventional music. The 'John Crispino' project could be classified between progressive rock with influences from the 1970s like 'Pink Floyd' and experimental music based on the mixing of different electronic effects with trafficked voices delivering relatively dark messages . The title of entry '4 AM' is relatively opressing and the atmosphere could be compared to the tormented world of 'Roger Waters'. The album also contains more conventional titles like 'Head Down Low' which reminds me of the atmosphere of some songs of 'Vangelis' and the ballad 'Come Back to Me' where the saxophone brings a nonchalant side. It is therefore not easy to enter this opus so much we change register from one title to another. In short, 'Now That I Have Your Attention' is a rich and elaborate record, off the beaten path, which requires an effort of listening to penetrate all the corners what necessarily destined it to a restricted audience...
