'Mr Big' is an American band which has existed for nearly thirty years, but has experienced a separation during the 2000s and then a reformation in 2011. Since then, it's the third band's album with 'Defying Gravity' which has been released in 2017. Well, despite the hours of flight, from the first title, we find the energetic rock of the ‘Mister Big’ with this magnificent 'Open Your Eyes' which reminds us of the hours of glory of a rock / hard -rock direct and efficient. The following shows that they also know how to vary the subject with the semi-acoustic title 'Damn I'm in Love Again' and pop titles 'Nothing Bad (About Feeling Good)', 'Forever and Back' or the very melodic ‘She’s All Coming Back to Me Now’. And if it were necessary to retain only one title, I'd say 'Everybody Needs a Little Trouble' which is the proof (if you suspect it) that 'Mr Big' always know how to tap our foot and to move our head in. In short, once again, with this 'Defying Gravity', the French expression 'it is in the old pots that we make the best soup' has never been more relevant than now...
