After a very promising debut in 2015 (see Here ), here is our Dutch 'End Of The Dream' band who do it all over again with a second opus that confirms the potential of the group. Indeed, listening to the first titles, we are at the level of the metal symphonic tenors with a more powerful sound, the singer 'Micky Huiijsmans' who is always at the top and a production that has evolved compared to the first album. 'Until You Break' opens the stage with a melody that recalls some 'Within Temptation' titles. The result is a reflection of this first title, catchy melodies which quickly addict you and enter your head. A small break with the beautiful ballad 'I Am Nothing', then a second part of album where we find titles always symphonic but at the limit of the progressive like for example 'Defile' or 'Your Poison' showing the capacity of the Micky’s register who knows how to adapt her voice according to the atmosphere and where we feel an important instrumental work bringing a variety inside the compositions. We can notice the magnificent last title 'The Light' mixing soft and powerful parts and finishing on a piano part influenced by the great classic and romantic composer 'Frédéric Chopin'. In short, with the 1st opus 'All I Am', I was hoping it would be 'The Beginning Of The Dream' : well, it is confirmed with this second opus, we moved on to the next phase: 'The Continuation Of The Dream'...
