'Crossing Eternity' is a new band created in 2017 by the guitarist 'Manu Savu' which has just released a year after its first studio album 'The Rising World'. Their style starts from a base of metal to which they add atmospheres that can be power, symphonic or folk with references to the hard-rock music of the 70s/80s but also some newer groups, I think in particular to 'Avantasia' for the theatrical side or 'Stratovarius' for the heavy side. Overall, the 13 compositions are melodic and accessible and are divided between catchy titles like the very rhythmic 'Ghost of a Storm', 'Kingdom Come', 'Spirit of the Forest' or 'Winter Poem' and others slower but equally as powerful as 'High Above the Crown', 'Embrace Your Voices' or 'Angels Cry, Raimbows Hide' and its very melodic chorus. In summary, this first album of 'Crossing Eternity', already shows a very good potential and has all the assets to succeed into the sphere of heavy and power metal...
