2016 was a dark year for progressive rock fans of the 70s because, after the suicide of 'Keith Emerson' in March 2016, it was the turn of 'Greg Lake' to leave us in December 2016 as they had been planned to meet up somewhere in the beyond. Therefore, 'Live in Piazenza', is a gift for all the fans who can hear again the ‘Greg’ warm voice and filled with emotion in a live in Italy recorded in 2012 with very varied titles mixing artists like the 'Beatles', 'Elvis Presley', 'Johny Kid & The Pirates' and of course his two bands 'ELP' and 'Kink Crimson'. It is certain, after his death, certain titles take a particular dimension like 'It's the life' from ‘Works’ album of 1977 or the magnificent 'Lucky Man' that he shares with his Italian friends, the former singer of ‘PFM’, 'Annie Barbazza' (see last album of the group left at the end of 2017 Here), 'Bernardo Lanzett' from the 70's 'Acqua Fragile' band and 'Aldo Tagliapietra' from the iconic Italian group 'El Orme', which has just released a solo album (Here). In short, with 'Live in Piacenza', 'Greg Lake' gives us a little hello from the stars sharing this moment of emotion and allows us to hear all these timeless songs that followed us throughout our lives...
