After a wonderful 'Unprecedented' in 2016 (see here), 'Marcela Bovio' who is still busy between her different projects (including the participation in the last album of 'Mayan' here), released at the end of 2018 a new solo album in the continuity of 'Unprecedented' with 11 titles written by the artist drawing on the stories she has collected during the self-financing campaign of the album among her fans. Far from metal, she defines this album as 'melancholy chamber music' as the members of the symphonic metal group of 'Edenbridge', 'Lanvall' and 'Sabine Edelsbacher' had done with 'Voiciano' (see here). From the first title 'The Edge of the World', the magic is there and her voice knows how to be melancholic and then grow to fall back on the end. In the majority of the compositions, she plays between different feelings that she knows how to transmit to us and the musicians who accompany her on piano, violin and cello know how to be one with her as in 'Magic Powers' with her changes of tempo that gives all its dimension to this title. Also note that she shares the title 'Here To Say' with her sister Diana for a beautiful duet. In summary, 'Through Your Eyes' shows once again the complete artist that is 'Marcela Bovio' and, whatever the genre, music can do only good when transmitting such beautiful emotions...
