After 'Transcendent' in 2016 (see here ), the Canadian 'Rob Moratti' releases a new studio album, 'Renaissance', with some changes of line up, 'Torben Enevoldsen' replacing 'Reb Beach' on guitar and 'Stu Reid' replacing 'Brian Doerner' on drums. We find the AOR style that we knew about the previous album with the impression of having already heard all these melodies in another era because Rob, in addition to his vocal performances, has this talent to compose melodic jewels easy to access from the first listening. From the first title, 'You Are the One', it's a first chorus that enters into your head without letting go, then, 'Let Me Be the One' continues to distil an elegant AOR rock and the ballad 'Best of Me 'can recall melodic lines of the 80's in a style much more pop as could have done artists like 'Chris de Burgh'. I could continue to quote the rest of the album because each title brings a new melody memorable with vocal and instrumental arrangements very neat. In summary, unsurprisingly, 'Rob Moratti' is once again releasing a quality album, continuing to perpetuate an easy-to-access AOR, and which should appeal to a large audience who loves formations like 'Foreigner', 'Journey' or 'Asia'...
