The 5th concert is about the Swiss group of 'Gotthard', which has taken an important place in the hard-rock sphere for nearly 30 years and have released after the 'Defrosted' of 1997, a 'Defrosted 2'. Recorded during the last 'Defrosted Unplugged Tour 2018' tour, this nearly 2 hours live shows, once again, with this new acoustic set, the melodic talent of this band with compositions that have become hymns for fans. The last album 'Miss Me' of 2017 is well represented with entry 'Miss Me' which opens the ball and which shows a warm version with beautiful female choruses, the ballads 'Beautiful' and 'Why' and the mid- tempo 'Stay With Me', which are obviously suitable for this acoustic exercise, and finally, the joyful 'Tequila Symphony N ° 5' with its nod to the 5th symphonic of 'Beethoven' which is embellished naturally for the occasion of strings and a magnificent piano solo. The other highlights are numerous with the beautiful ballads of the band like 'Heaven', 'C'est la vie' or 'One Life One Soul' but also catchy compositions like 'Bang', 'Feel What I Feel' in which public joins in for a sing-along, the 'Hush' cover of 'Joe South' popularized by 'Deep Purple', or 'Right On', 'Sister Moon', 'Lift It Up'. Note 2 unpublished at the end of the album, first recording acoustic studio 'Bye Bye Caroline' with the nod to 'Caroline' of the 'Quo' written with 'Francis Rossi' (who also made acoustic set here) and the wonderful ballad 'What I would not give' of great intensity. In short, 'Defrosted 2' is a live show that shows an other face of 'Gotthard' and contains all that one looks for in a concert : a communicative energy and a great bath of emotion and finally does not it would not be called simply ‘c’est la vie’...
